q What's the difference between POP & IMAP?

  • The main difference between IMAP and POP is that IMAP works with email directly on the server (ALL folders), while POP fetches mail from the server (Inbox folder only) and works with it on your local computer.

q What is the maximum mailbox storage?

  • The maximum size of eHostAsia Email box is 25GB.

q What email security features does eHostAsia have?

  • In addition to email encryption through secure IMAP, SMTP, and POP connections from your email apps to the server, eHostAsia provides opportunistic TLS for inbound and outbound email in transit.

q Can I use your email service even if my website is hosted elsewhere?

  • Absolutely. You can have your website hosted by another provider and still use our email service.

q We are looking for a reliable email hosting service but we do not have a domain yet. Can you register a domain for us?

  • Yes, we can register a domain for you. This also means your DNS services will be hosted and managed by us to ensure 100% uptime route-ability of your email.

q Can I avail of your managed DNS and email services even if my domain was registered elsewhere?

  • Absolutely. This is the usual setup of our clients. You just need to change and point your domain nameservers to ours.

q Does your email service use DKIM and SPF authentication?

  • Yes. The use of DKIM and SPF are mandatory to ensure deliverability of  your email.

q Can we avail of your Archiving Service even if our email is not hosted by eHostAsia?

  • Yes, we can provide Email Archiving service even if your email is hosted elsewhere.

q What's the minimum contract for your email services?

  • Our email service is on a monthly subscription. We don’t force our clients to sign up for one year just to secure their business. We strive to keep our email services secure and up and running 100% of the time. It’s the only way to win their trust and make them stay.
